Support Our Work

"The Women’s Centre Cornwall is such an important place, it has been an absolute lifeline for me, like a precious jewel that I found, I don’t know where I’d be without it."

Our services are needed now more than ever.

One in three women globally will experience some form of sexual or domestic abuse in their lifetime.

In Cornwall, more than 5,900 women were raped or sexually assaulted and 14,000 women were subjected to domestic abuse.

The Women’s Centre Cornwall is very proud to consistently receive very positive feedback from the women and girls who use our services. 9 in 10 women tell us they have improved health and wellbeing, and almost as many say they can see a better future ahead.

There is more demand for our services than we can currently meet, so any additional funds we can raise goes directly into supporting women.

Becoming a Friend also means that we can stay in touch and keep you updated about our work and the issues affecting women and girls and you can be part of our community of allies.

To become a Friend, you can give either:

Minimum annual donation of £52 or more
Minimum monthly donation of £5 or more

Friends will receive a special e-newsletter twice a year and an invitation to an annual online event celebrating the impact of your support.

Fundraise

From making and raffling beautiful ceramics, to cycling the length of Ireland and walking the Cornish coast path, we have been lucky enough to have some amazing women and men raise money for us in imaginative and brave ways!

If you have an idea of how to fundraise for us and get involved, we would love to hear from you...to start the journey email

Cycling the Length of Ireland

This incredible woman is solo cycling the length of Ireland, 600 miles to raise money for charity. She is self-funding the project so all donations will go towards ourselves and The Wave Project.

We appreciate you so much Laura...we are in awe of you!
