Open Service Evaluation February 2021

We are very excited to share with you a condensed version of the evaluation report that we recently commissioned of the Open Service (A project working with women across Devon, Dorset & Cornwall in the Criminal Justice System or who are at risk of offending; supporting women whose partners/ex-partners are subject to the Building Better Relationships (BBR) programme delivered by Dorset Devon and Cornwall Community Rehabilitation Company and/or those who are facing extreme poverty, homelessness and hardship), carried out by Linda Regan.

The Women's Centre Cornwall commissioned this independent evaluation of the Open Service to assess and demonstrate: the impact of the Open Service; its successes and particular strengths and reflect on how the service could be improved.

A review of existing quantitative and qualitative data collected during the life of the Open Service was undertaken together with interviews to collect perspectives on the impact and value of the service.

The document showcases the vital, holistic and trauma-responsive support delivered by the Open team across Dorset, Devon & Cornwall.

The report includes the evaluation executive summary, case studies, impacts of the service, insights from the team, feedback from Probation Officers and most importantly, voices of the women we support.

This report includes the Executive Summary of the evaluation Open Service evaluation February 2021
