Women In The Criminal Justice System: Breaking the cycle of offending behaviour

Open Community Justice Work works on several pathways with women during their support provision depending on whether they are applicable to each individual woman’s needs. Each pathway has been identified as often being the cause for women to engage with offending behaviour, such as drug & alcohol addiction. On the other hand, these pathways are the areas that can be addressed in a supportive way to help a woman break free of the cycle of offending behaviour and begin to improve their sense of wellbeing and stability and into a life free from further crime.
