Leaving our site quickly
In the top right corner of each page is an icon that says "Leave site". This allows you to quickly leave The Women's Centre Cornwall website. Clicking it will take you to the BBC News website.

Deleting your browsing history
However if you want to thoroughly hide your visit you will also need to delete your browsing history too.
Web browsers usually store information about which websites you've visited. You can quickly and easily delete this information. In the section opposite is a guide for how to do it for the most common browsers.
Make sure you choose a password that is not easy to guess. Always make sure you log out of your email before leaving the computer.
If an abuser sends you threatening or harassing e-mail messages, you can print and save these as evidence of this abuse.
Guide to deleting your browsing history
Firefox - to clear recent history hold down Ctrl and Shift and press Delete, then tick History from the list of options.
Chrome - to clear recent history hold down Ctrl and Shift and press Delete, then tick Clear Browsing History from the list of options.
Internet Explorer - to clear recent history hold down Ctrl and Shift and press Delete, then tick Historyfrom the list of options.
Safari -open the Edit menu and choose Reset Safari, then tick Clear History from the list of options
Improving the privacy of your browsing
Privacy mode, also called Private Browsing or Incognito Mode, can be enabled in all modern browsers so that the browser does not store a list of websites that you have visited. Here is how to do it for the most common browsers:
Firefox - to start Private Browsing hold down Ctrl and Shift and press P
Chrome - to open an Incognito Window hold down Ctrl and Shift and press N
Internet Explorer -to open an InPrivate Browsing window hold down Ctrl and Shift and press P
Safari - Open the Edit menu and choose Private Browsing
