We Are Recruiting Volunteers!

Please note the deadline for applications at this stage is Monday 13th September 2021. Interviews will be held on Tuesdays throughout September/early October and training will begin on mid-October, every Tuesday morning (10am - 1pm) for 7 weeks.

Women from our local communities are vital to the work and sustainability of The Women’s Centre Cornwall, providing essential support to women and girls who use our services.  Without the ongoing support of our dedicated team of volunteers and mentors we would not be able to offer the wide range of services and activities we currently do.

Whoever you are, whatever your experience, education or background, we encourage you to join our team and embark on, what is for many, a life-changing experience. We are seeking women with energy, enthusiasm, integrity and commitment to join our team. We welcome those with lived experience. Whilst the work can be challenging at times and requires empathy and sensitivity, it is full of warmth and laughter too.

You can choose which type of volunteering role you would like to engage in, with the option later of training in other volunteering roles. We currently have four different volunteering roles to choose from, however, we anticipate that more volunteering roles will become available as we continue to develop as a Women’s Centre.
